I want to be the same kind of wife that I am a mother—devoted, tender, nurturing, and full of love. The same way I pour my heart into my children through cooking, cleaning, and quiet affection, I want to offer that same energy to my husband.
I want our home to be a sanctuary of warmth and light—a sacred space where he can safely remove his armor and simply be. Masculine men carry a weight few truly understand. And I say masculine men deliberately—those who protect, provide, and lead with integrity. I’m not speaking of the ones who insist on 50/50 because they’ve forgotten, or never learned, what it means to stand fully in their manhood. I’m speaking of the real ones—the men who go out into the world and face its storms, only to return home with loyalty in their hearts.
A man like that deserves to be cherished, loved deeply, and spoken to with reverence. He deserves tenderness, passion, and devotion in abundance. He deserves to be worshiped not out of submission, but out of recognition—because he is divine in his own right.
I want my home to be his refuge. I want it to feel like peace. When he walks through the door, I want him to smell his favorite meal simmering on the stove, the scent of freshly baked cookies lingering in the air, and know—without question—that he is loved.
And when he arrives, I want to meet him at the door, his favorite drink in one hand, a warm cookie in the other, and whisper poetry into his ear—soft, sweet words of love and gratitude for all that he is.
I am the kind of woman men dream about, but very few are worthy to receive.
I once overheard a man sigh, “Ugh… I have to go home now.” The defeat in his voice broke my heart. No man should ever dread returning home. Every good man deserves a place where he can remove his burdens, where love wraps around him like safety itself. But sadly, too many good men don’t have that—and too many undeserving ones expect it.
